Aquaman Leak Detection is a company of the highest integrity. This is why we pride ourselves on doing the best leak detection in the industry the first time out! It is very common that by the time we get a call multiple leaks are occurring in your pool or spa.
Some folk's pools unfortunately are in need of repair after we do our inspection / leak detection. After a leak detection is performed and you receive the diagnosis you have 30 days to get what is leaking fixed if we cannot seal or stop your leak on the same day of the service.
We are transparent about different issues that may arise during a repair but our goal to help you and to save water comes first. We have done our best to come up with a FAQ page for the common questions folks have and rest some concerns and ease some stressors you may have.

Blake Etzel - Leak Detection Specialist
Blake Etzel joined our team after leaving the oil business where he worked most of his career on jobs between Louisiana and Texas.
Blake grew up mostly in Lafayette, Louisiana and attended college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette earning a degree in Geology. Post college Blake went to work for big oil. For the past 7 years Blake worked long days and nights taking order and direction at a moments notice to some remote location to complete a job while working on the drill floor. Blakes’ work ethic has propelled him to success while working on the Aquaman Team. Blake is always eager to work and figure out a problem and help to solve it.
Blake says ' What I like most about Aquaman Leak Detection is being able to work outside in the field everyday. No matter how different each job is we use the same effective method to be able to solve the issue “

Jeff Yager - Field Specialist /Slab Leak Specialist/Logistics
Jeff has 10 years of customer service/ scheduling/ logistics and we are very happy he is on the Aquaman Team. Jeff sets our leak detections logistically as best we can when we can to cut drive time and make our days flow.
Jeff has been on the Aquaman Team for 5 years and has really made an impact on our team from his expertise tracking down hard to find slab leaks to logistically keeping our operation on point.
Jeff says, “I like that every leak is a new challenge . I like finding the leak and putting the customers mind at ease when we're able to patch or stop the leak the same day of our service. Every job is similar but unique.”

Jonathan Hanks - Leak Detection Specialist
Jonathan or “Hanks” as we call him is part of the ‘ crawdad connection ‘ of California Leak Detection specialists as we like to call ourselves. 3 of our current leak detection specialists are from Lafayette, Louisiana and Hanks is one of them. Lafayette breeds good work ethic if you’ve spent time working in the oilfield.
Jonathan grew up playing soccer and working summers in the pipeyards in the various towns or parishes outside of Lafayette is where he learned what a hard days work was.
Jonathan graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After college Jonathan and his girlfriend Salita opened a restaurant and ran in which is still ran by family today in Lafayette.
Jonathan moved to California about ten years ago as many folks do to try their hat in the acting and modeling industry. Jonathan has appeared in some short indy films and done some part time beard modeling. After growing weary and pennyless in the entertainment industry Jonathan reached out to Kenton about what looked to him like a cool profession diving pools and the rest is history. What Jonathan likes best about pool leak detection is ‘When I get to put my earplugs in and go underwater the whole world goes quiet and still. I love that.’

Senior Leak Detection Specialist - Kenton Rivas
Kenton founded Aquaman Leak Detection of California in Ventura, CA in 2013 . Prior to starting Aquaman Leak Detection of California Kenton trained with Lowell Ball of Aquaman Leak Detection of Florida and learned the patented method to accurately find leaks in a pool or spa system.
The inspiration to bring Aquaman Leak Detection to California was inspired by the fulfillment helping the environment and the people. Kenton believes Aquaman Leak Detection serves a great purpose to the people and the environment here in California and is motivated every week to provide the best service around.
Kenton has vast professional experience and strong work ethic. He has worked logistics for tactical training courses by homeland security for our nation's swat teams, offshore on deepwater oil rigs on highly pressurized lines, and for several years as a surf instructor for Surfclass at the beaches in Ventura while in graduate school. Kenton earned his MBA in 2011 from California State University - Channel Islands here in Ventura County.
Kenton's hobbies include surfing, snowboarding yoga and travel.
